I have just received in the mail the Union of Concerned Scientists' report on GMO contamination of seed supplies in the USA. Together with Dr. Traavik's recent findings, both studies consitute a searing indictment against the biotech industry.

Along those lines, my compatriot and journalistic colleague Susan Soltero just sent me this news item from Planet Ark News: Japan will stop buying Canadian wheat if Canada approves a variety of genetically modified wheat, a delegation of Japanese consumer groups warned. Oh, and by the way, Western Australia just banned GMO crops.
