So, three plane trips after my last post earlier today and I´m in the Mexican state of Oaxaca. This is my first trip to Mexico. I´m here to attend an international scientific symposium on the effects of genetically altered corn. The activity is organized by the North American Commission for Environmental Cooperation (www.cec.org).

Indigenous peoples, campesinos, NGO´s, and environmental groups like Greenpeace Mexico are going to come too, and are going to give the scientists and bureaucrats a piece of their mind. I´ll keep ya posted.
